PMS ve POS Entegrasyonu: Sorunsuz Bir Misafir Deneyimi İçinPMS & POS Integration for a Frictionless Guest Experience
Bir otelde misafir deneyimi tek noktadan başlayıp tek noktadan bitmiyor. Resepsiyondaki check-in, odadaki mini-bar, restorandaki akşam yemeği, spa'daki masaj ve bardaki içki — hepsi ayrı sistemlerde yaşıyor. Bu sistemler arasında entegrasyon yoksa, misafirin toplam deneyimi "otel içi maliyet aktarımı" kaosuna dönüşüyor.
PMS (Property Management System) ile POS (Point of Sale) entegrasyonu, tam bu noktada devreye giriyor. Restoran POS'unda oda numarasına yüklenen bir yemek, entegre bir sistemde anında PMS'teki misafir hesabına yansır. Muhasebe kapanışında çift veri girişi olmaz, garson ile resepsiyon arasında sürekli telefon trafiği yaşanmaz.
Entegrasyonun ikinci faydası; misafir tanıma. POS'a düşen "Sn.
In a hotel, the guest experience does not begin and end at one point. Front-desk check-in, in-room mini-bar, restaurant dinner, spa massage and bar drinks — all live in separate systems. Without integration between these systems, the guest's total experience turns into internal cost-transfer chaos.
This is where PMS (Property Management System) and POS (Point of Sale) integration steps in. When a meal charged to a room number in the restaurant POS lands, in an integrated setup, instantly on the guest folio in PMS, there is no duplicate data entry at close-of-day and no constant phone traffic between waiter and front desk.
The second benefit of integration is guest recognition. The "Mr. Öztürk, Room 412" information dropping into the POS enables the waiter to spot a VIP, know the allergies and seat the guest at the preferred table. The same integration also automates loyalty point accrual.
Three ingredients make integration work: a standard interface (usually a two-way web service), a mediation layer where rules can be written, and continuous monitoring of the integration. The "deployed and forgotten" approach breaks on the first summer season's first error. Getting this integration right during hotel opening consulting is a technology investment that directly affects the guest satisfaction score.
